gen-re: - A category of artistic composition, as in music or literature, marked by a distinctive style, form, or content. (Examples: Pop, Rock, Metal, Jazz, Rap, R&B, Country, etc.) When I listen to music, I listen to individual songs. I don't go by a certain category and pick and choose from there. If I like a song I listen to it. Now, granted, there are a few genres I don't listen to as often like Rap, Jazz and Metal, but I do have a few songs from those genres that I absolutely love. There are also certain genres that I listen to more like rock and pop but then there are some rock song and pop songs that I can't stand.  So yes, I prefer the songs over genres. X3 As long as it sounds good to me. Fave if you use, please. :-} |
